Where do I come from ?

I was born and cultured in the city of Vadodara, Gujarat in India. I am the fifth generation in my family to be raised in food and hospitality entrepreneurship. Goa, Mumbai, Switzerland, New York and Paris have been experienced as homes. My father is an icon in the hotel industry, known for his

WhaT are my academic qualifications ?

I studied at Convent of Jesus and Mary, Vadodara and moved to St. Mary’s Convent, Nainital at the age of nine. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature from Maharaja Sayajirao University and did my Post Graduate Diploma in hotel management from Ecole les Roches, Switzerland. I studied Patisserie and Wine from Le Cordon Bleu, Paris and pursued advanced wine studies at The Wine and Spirit Education Trust of U.K.

What is my career ?

I started working at 15 years of age at my family’s hotel and trained in our kitchen under my mother’s guidance. Since then, I gained young experience working at The Zodiac Grill at the Taj Palace, Mumbai moving on to creating an iconic restaurant in Vadodara at the age of 25. I went on to co-found the first international wine school in India. I worked alongside my father to run our public listed, hospitality company - Jindal Hotels Ltd. and worked with my ex partner and co built the brand Coco Shambhala, one of the top luxury villas of India. I founded the NGO Ear to the Wild Foundation for elephant conservation in 2018 and established Sukh Lifestyle Experiences in 2022. Today I am celebrated as a top chef nationally and internationally. I am a social media influencer with a verified account and over two hundred thousand followers.

What is keeping me happy and busy these days ?

I am in a process of transformation. I am enjoying building my business whilst travelling across India and the world. I have enjoyed meeting new people and rekindling with older ones. Opening myself to new cultures, cuisines and finding ways to preserve my own heritage. This is an explorative and persevering time that gives many rewards along the journey. I live in Vadodara, Gujarat, India and I like to travel a lot.
